Storms and Stale Cookies
As we all know, Spirit airlines is not the best airline but they always end up getting you
to your destination safe and relatively on time for the most part. By the most part I mean not as of
yesterday when we were flying back. After we all boarded the plane and prepared for take off,
we started moving and everything was great, well except for the fact that we were about to leave
Florida. After we moved around to the runway where we SHOULD have been about to leave the ground,
there were 5 other planes just chilling there too so now there's traffic waiting for the other planes to go.
But, then the pilot announced that there are storms a-brewin and that we had to wait them
out until they passed.

Well, let me tell you how we waited over an hour for us to take off. We were supposed to leave around 3
something and then get to Atlantic City at 5:40 but instead we took off at 4 something and got to AC closer
to 7. Spirit tried their best by making us feel welcomed when they brought around their complimentary tiny
biscoff cookie (singular) and a small cup of water as a “sorry” for the inconvenience. Note that the cookie
that they gave us was straight crumbs and expired months ago.

I know that the weather could not have possibly been their fault however, as opposed to checking
the weather right before we took off they could have waited to board or something so that at least
we would not have been stuck sitting on a plane uncomfortable and what not. It especially would
have been more beneficial for the long legged bois (am i right Nicole) because there was not that
much leg space. Anyway, the plane ride yesterday coming home was a little bit of a mess between
having to go through TSA twice because there was a sip of water left in my reusable bottle,
having to be escorted out to drink that sip, and of course the plane ride of which we arrived to our
destination a couple hours later than expected. Spirit did their best though I guess.

okay but like first off, you got cookies? second this was literally the worst I am pretty sure I turned my phone on and off airplane mode like 7 times thinking we were about to take off just for the captain to be like just kidding not yet and then me having to update me and Jackies ride home that we were still delayed. I really loved that for us.
